Our Alliance was founded on the belief that women should not have to build their businesses, navigate their finances or prepare for their futures alone. The right information, relationships and resources can change the direction of a woman’s life, business and legacy.

Through the combined experience of our founders, members, mentors and BOSS Alliance Partners, we connect women with practical education, business-development support, financial resources, leadership opportunities and meaningful professional relationships.

Meet the Founders

We Know What It Takes—Because We Have Lived It.

We are Shirley Johnson and Roslyn Caldwell—family, friends, serial entrepreneurs and business owners with more than three decades of real-world experience between us.

We have launched businesses, developed concepts, opened storefronts, written business plans, managed employees, worked with vendors, served customers, negotiated contracts and made the difficult financial decisions that come with building something of your own.

We have enjoyed exciting wins, turned passions into profits and created opportunities that once existed only as ideas. We have also experienced losses, disappointments, unexpected challenges and moments when we had to rethink the plan, make adjustments and start again.

That is the part of entrepreneurship people do not always talk about.

The truth is, building a business can be exciting—but it can also be demanding, expensive and lonely. Hard work matters, but hard work alone is not always enough. Access to information matters. Relationships matter. Capital matters. Financial preparation matters. Having trusted people who will tell you the truth matters.

Throughout our journeys, we were fortunate to develop relationships with friends, mentors, business owners and professionals who shared their knowledge, opened doors and helped us see opportunities differently. Those relationships played an important role in our success and continue to influence the women we are today.

We created NG BOSS Alliance because we believe more women deserve that same access.

We wanted to build the kind of Alliance we wish more women had throughout our own entrepreneurial journeys—a place where women can ask honest questions, have meaningful conversations and connect with people who can provide practical education, trusted resources and genuine support.

NG BOSS Alliance is not about pretending that anyone has all the answers. It is about bringing the right people into the room, sharing what we know and helping one another make better-informed decisions.

We believe our experiences—the wins, the losses and everything in between—can help another woman avoid an unnecessary mistake, recognize an opportunity or find the confidence and resources she needs to move forward.

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP DUES

Dues are used to offset costs and gratuities associated with essential club activities and upscale events, not limited to:

  • Programs and Events: Assists with a variety of costs and expenses related to hosting NG group social and professional events that enrich our alliance and provide valuable experiences for all members.

  • Operational Costs: Offsets administrative support for member services, website maintenance and PODCAST operations.

  • NGB Transportation Services: Luxury SUV transportation and yacht fleet provided during group travel and special occasions

  • Community Initiatives: Supporting community outreach programs, charitable activities, and partnerships that align with our club’s mission and values.
